What is Google Lens?
Google has developed an image recognition technology called Google Lens. The app identifies using visual analysis. Moreover, it does not only name objects but also gives out relevant information related to the object. Simply point your camera to an object around you, or take photos of objects, and Google Lens will identify that object for you. Also, you can do image searches on the app as well. Google Lens can also translate foreign words for you. It can be most useful when traveling to a foreign country, and you need translation for almost anything. Lens was one of Google’s biggest announcements in 2017 and a Google Pixel exclusive feature when that phone launched. What can Google Lens do?
Aside from the things described above, Google Lens also offers the following: Smart text Selection: You can point your phone’s camera at a text and copy it on your phone. So, for instance, imagine pointing your phone at a Wi-Fi password and being able to copy and paste it into a Wi-Fi login screen. Smart text search: When you highlight text in Google Lens, you can also search that text with Google. This is useful if you need to look up a definition of a word without typing the word manually. Google homework questions: You can just scan your homework questions, and Google will come up with answers for them.
