Android can help us in virtually anything, from calculating to converting and from losing weight to endless entertainment. What if you want to use your Android to master essential oils? Well, that can be arranged as well. Essential oils have been around for thousands of years and us humans have been using them for improving our lives. Before, we didn’t have the luxury of obtaining a wide variety of essential oils with ease, but today we can simply walk into a store and come out with a lot of them. Essential oils are used in aromatherapy mostly these days and many people have benefited from it. In all honesty, I only encountered them in certain shops and thought they smell really nice but apart from that, I have very limited exposure to essential oils. So, I’ll only be guiding you towards the content that I think will be beneficial in mastering essential oils using Android.
Use the Youtube App
This one is perhaps the easiest thing you can do in mastering essential oils and making your life better. I know, it is also the most obvious one for anyone who is familiar how Google works but it is the major one here. There are a ton of dedicated essential oils channels on YouTube that you can subscribe to and explore essential oils without actually purchasing any. During my research, I came across some channels that tried to push products on me and that is an instant turn off. I try to avoid channels that aggressively recommend products because they are essentially glorified ads. Just like any other topic, there are some genuinely honest people that provide good information without being shady; all you need to do is find the one that suits your needs. I, for one, really like the videos by Mountain Rose Herbs because the lady explains things really well.
Buy Some Books
Use Dedicated Apps
There is always an app for something you want to do on Android and mastering essential oils is no different. Here are 3 of the best essential oil apps for Android you can use to master your craft.
1. Essential Oils Guide Free
Essential Oils Guide is a fairly simple app with a lot of text in it. It is basically a dictionary of essential oils that you can consult without any fees. The comprehensive guide allows you to learn about essential oils and how you can use them in your life. It will also teach you things about aromatherapy that can benefit not only your health but also your well-being. You’ll also be provided with current and scientific guidance on aromatherapy and its uses. The interface is simple and navigation is a breeze. I also like how you can easily press the little stars to favorite the topics you like.
2. Essential Oils & More
This app has a much cleaner interface but it is also inherently similar to the above app because of the similar text-based nature. It is a free comprehensive guide that allows you to learn about essential oils and help you in using them in everyday life. You’ll also be able to share essential oils with your friends through messaging as well as social media. The app covers 234 health conditions, 62 different oils and 19 oil blends. There are also instructions on general usage, so you won’t feel stranded at any time. I really like that there are no ads on this app and it provides an uninterrupted reading experience.
3. doTERRA Daily Drop
Well, if you’re talking about essential oils you cannot possibly ignore a company that makes them. This app is all about the branded essential oils and how you can use them in your daily lives. This app is bare-bones and this is exactly why it’s in the last place on the list. I’ve included it because there is a short video hosted on it each day which makes learning about essential oils quick and convenient. Every day a short video will be uploaded as well as a challenge on the app and you can follow it to gain more experience.
